Romain Gavras is a French-Greek director, son of the acclaimed political filmmaker Costa-Gavras. He is one of the most significant music video directors of his generation, responsible for era-defining work including Justice's 'Stress' (2008), M.I.A.'s 'Bad Girls' (2012), and Jamie xx's 'Gosh' (2016). His feature films include Our Day Will Come (2010), The World Is Yours (2018), and the Netflix uprising epic Athena (2022). He has a longstanding creative partnership with French producer Surkin (GENER8ION), collaborating across multiple videos. His forthcoming feature Sacrifice stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Evans, Salma Hayek, and Vincent Cassel.
